Zur Fuldaschleife am Campingplatz in Guxhagen

We were there for one night in transit and felt very comfortable. The campsite is just a few minutes from the motorway. The parking space was assigned to us and was laid out very generously! we had a huge meadow to ourselves, which after 8 hours. Ride very accommodating! No parcels and no annoying maneuvering! On the well-paved meadow, support out and end of work. Electricity and Water was available, chemical disposal was also easily accessible and the operators are super nice and helpful. The restaurant was unfortunately closed due to Corona and the end of the season, but the pizza delivery service recommended to us at the reception came right up to the caravan. The sanitary facilities are old but clean and well maintained. Plan a few more days for your next transit.

We stayed in one of the super cozy camping barrels and loved it! Despite the cold weather in October, it was comfortably warm in the barrel, and the location with a view of the river was wonderful. The sanitary facilities are not modern, but always very tidy and clean. The host family was very nice. We'd love to come back!

I like it. Have only been here in October and the restaurant was closed. The water for showering and washing up takes a little longer to get hot. But everything is nice and clean.

Simple campsite with clean sanitary facilities. Little things are available on the square. If you want to go out to eat in the evening, you have to plan a short walk. There are enough places to be reached easily by bike or car. Service on the square was good. In short: simple and good. We would come again.

We have been here together for 3 days, 2 nights. Were received very friendly and helpful. Were allowed to choose a spot for themselves and stood looking at the Fulda. There is indeed a motorway along, on top of the mountain, behind the trees, when you sit comfortably with a drink or sleep you really do not suffer from this. Sanitary very clean and super neat! It may be dated compared to the Dutch campsites, but certainly not dirty or broken !! We have really enjoyed and relaxed here. Unfortunately the restaurant on the campsite was closed, a few hundred meters away a nice meal in a Gasthaus!

Beautiful, idyllic place in the midst of beautiful nature directly on the Fulda. Great starting point for bike tours to Melsungen and Kassel. Also great for canoeing on the Fulda. Stayed there for a weekend and had a quiet and nice time. The restaurant was unfortunately closed, but within walking distance a nice inn with a regional menu. We were very satisfied and will definitely stop by again. Places right on the water are beautiful and spacious. The operators were helpful and friendly. When allocating the space, our wishes were taken into account.

The campsite itself is beautifully located directly on the Fulda. Nice personel. Check in and check out also problem-free. The sanitary facility is very old. Despite a few guests, some of them not really clean.

Wifi is available for 2 € / day, unfortunately no bread rolls, showers are narrow and cost 50 cents, but have a very good shower head and run for a long time. The highway can be heard constantly as a faint noise. Great starting point for the Fulda cycle path

First of all, I would like to mention that the place is almost unbeatable due to its location on the Fulda loop. By and large everything is fine. The operators are nice, help you choose a place and give tips on places of interest. But what bothered us based on the price of the night were the showers that were partly completely contaminated with bacteria. One had the impression that there is no longer any repairs being made here, only botched things. Please dear people, take some money in your hand and refurbish the huge showers. That would be a real shame.

Old campsite with appropriate sanitary facilities. A large meadow with power connections for overnight stays is very advantageous. Located close to the A7, but because of a hill you hear little about it. The small restaurant offers something filling, nothing more. So well suited for a break on the long journey.

I give the 2 points for the friendliness of the staff and the location of the place directly on the Fulda. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and quite cramped. While we were there, there was a kind of permanent moisture in the sanitary rooms, the smell that emanates from the drains and the wood paneling is the opposite of fresh. Cleanliness, at least on the surface, still prevails. During our travels we had seen enough better examples of sanitary facilities where the confidence in hygiene was there immediately. Extra costs for hot water illustrate the aging standard. WiFi also costs extra, and unfortunately it arrived in poor quality on our devices.

Very nice, idyllic campsite right on the Fulda, fishing right at the tent, what more could you want, owners were very friendly and flexible. Unfortunately, as described on the homepage, the kiosk didn't exist, so only four stars! But otherwise always gladly.

Place about 40m below the A7. Traffic noise evenly, but not a problem in the caravan. Staff helpful and very friendly. Sanitary state of the 70s but clean. Showers too small, costs 50 cents !! Dogs are no problem, exercise is also good. Sufficient power connections. Allocation of parking spaces sometimes takes getting used to. Places at ground level, overgrown with grass. Quickly reachable next larger town. Stayed there for 3 days.

Sanitary facilities are very old, somehow 70s style. But clean. Nice quiet campsite. Space is suggested by the groundskeeper, but can also be changed. Stayed there for one night.

The owners are very friendly. The pitch is very tidy and every pitch has an electricity connection. There are plenty of toilets, showers and a few single cabins with sinks. The tiles are old-fashioned but everything is kept very clean. Just because the bathrooms are no longer so modern, in my opinion, you don't have to make them bad. The only thing that I would renew are the shower heads with hose as they did not stay in the holder or then splashed on the wall.

Quiet camping. Food served in afternoon. They charge for hot water in shower, but do not inform of this. More guests than me got surpised by this, and they were not too happy.

We were guests at the campsite from 07/26/2020 to 08/02/2020, we found the paramedics clean every day. The owners are very nice and helpful, we will come again next year. We can only recommend this place, there is no hustle and bustle at night you can really relax. To the owners, please keep it up, thank you for the great time.

Nice campsite, many guests for 1 night. You can remain attached on a separate field. Sanitary outdated, restaurant open limited from 5.30 pm to 8 pm. Service not all friendly. You can enjoy some background noise from the nearby motorway from the campsite.

Quit camping, nice surrounding.

Stayed here twice already and looking forward to next time. They have very helpful and friendly staff and their facilities are really good. The view of the surroundings when you wake up in the morning is stunning and I highly recommend to anyone passing by to do the effort and stop over for the night.

Weren't very nice

A transit camp site in the south of Germany with a restaurant. But who also wants a few days longer.

Very bad 5-7 minute in hot shower cost 50 cents we have a 10 meter long car we got sent to a field with horses and ducks and wet grass the car was too heavy so it got stuck in the grass and the staff was very rude and beer was cold. We were only one night with 2 adults and 3 children and it costs 40 e and 50 scents little bit too much i think. Never again 1/5 stars is super bad dont come here

Rather nice camp site with very nice biergarten and very good restaurant. Mostly one night campers en route. Too close to the autobahn wich is terribly loud when camping with a tent.slept terribly.
